What is different about Japanese education?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do wealthy people go abroad?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Dr. Takatsuki's lecture on Wednesday, February 19 that helped me understand this.<\/p>\n\n\n

Eton College\" is probably the name everyone knows.One of the five most prestigious boarding schools in the world<\/mark><\/strong>It is.<\/p>\n\n\n

He is recognized by the school as a \"Sole Agent\" and is the only person in Japan who can coordinate Eton's summer school.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of sons of political and business figures who have attended Eton's summer school under his coaching cannot be contained in double digits, and the beauty of Eton is nothing less than the British public school education he was attracted to decades ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UK Public Schools are not public schools. In the UK, \"private middle and high schools\" are called public schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the education of the whole person?Studies, sports, arts, and extracurricular activities are all equally emphasized, and the goal is to create a person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the contrary,How can we develop \"respectable\" people?<\/mark><\/strong>It can be said that this form was created through repeated educational exploration of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not an exploration of decades, but of centuries. Through sports, through the arts, through theater, through extracurricular activities, we develop the qualities and abilities necessary for a person.<\/p>\n\n\n

The second feature is boarding.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students are also guided in their daily lives through dormitory life. Dozens of students live in the dormitories in vertically divided groups, and a housemaster (housemaster) usually stays in the dormitory with his\/her family. They are very protective of their House fame and are more like brothers than siblings, spending time together from the age of 13 until the age of 18 at the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This creates a much greater intimacy with friends who have become close friends while studying abroad from college,A truly one-of-a-kind relationship is created.<\/mark><\/strong>It is a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last thing I want to passionately tell you is that<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is the quality of the teachers and the teacher-student ratio.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers have at least a graduate degree, and it is not uncommon to find teachers with doctoral degrees. There are also Nobel Prize candidates and professionals in their field, such as those who have competed in the Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In some schools, the so-called 3-company meeting, all subject teachers report on the students' learning in their subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always believed that education is<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I have said that it is a \"dialogue between teacher and student.\" In other words, it is not one teacher talking to 40 people about a certain subject or attitude toward life,Evaluation and advice regarding a single 00<\/strong>They do the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is easy to understand if you imagine the Japanese educational scene. In Japan, the teacher speaks one-sidedly to 40 students (in the case of a high school). That is because it is never to Mr. 00 alone,It is not advice that I would give as an individual.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, in Japan, the teacher's words are helpful but do not resonate with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine that.A Nobel Prize nominee in physics offers advice on learning physics exploration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Eton graduate who received such an education is now interning at GLI, hoping to spend a gap year in Japan, relying on Mr. Takatsuki.<\/p>\n\n\n

He is going to the Geography Department at Oxford this August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
