It gave students of all ages an understanding and feel of the country with the help of our guest speakers from Kazakhstan at the comfort of their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first flight was with the elementary students. Students and teachers were able to take a class with local Kazakhs and learn how to write their names in Kazakh. Everyone was excited to share the new knowledge they acquired. Next, the students got to listen to our guest speaker from Kazakhstan, and she gave them a tour of Kazakh lifestyle. In turn, the students were engaged in asking questions of their own to the guest speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here the focus was to see Kazakhstan's way of life and culture in comparison to Japan's. At the end of their activity, the students presented the differences that they learned and what stood out in their minds the most.
